Parker Solar Probe is working to uncover the unknown secrets of the sun!

Scientists have long researched that the sun alone occupies about 99.86% of the total mass of our solar system.  Again, the existence of life on our earth is sustained due to the heat and light of the sun.

Scientists think that with the amount of heat or energy that the sun produces in just 1.15 millionth of a second, it will not be possible to produce electricity equal to the needs of all the people on earth.

In fact, the surface temperature of the Sun is 5,500-6,000 degrees Celsius, but the temperature at its core can be incredibly close to 15 million degrees Celsius.  Again, the temperature of the atmosphere or corona several thousand kilometers above the sun is about 100,000 degrees Celsius.

According to researchers, the main reason for the intense heating of the Sun's atmosphere or corona is the Sun's own magnetic field.  Although they have not been able to recover the main secret of the temperature of the sun's corona at such an extreme level.  And for the purpose of intensive research on that, on August 12, 2018, the American space research organization 'NASA' launched a space mission named Parker Solar Probe weighing 685 kg.

According to information provided by NASA, the Parker Solar Probe entered the coronal ring of the Sun on April 28, 2024.  And by downloading the data collected about the mysterious temperature of the Sun's corona by the high-tech sensors in this space probe, NASA scientists have learned many unknown secrets and new data of the Sun.

As part of the first human space mission, the Parker Solar Probe will reach the Sun's upper atmosphere close to the corona in 2025.  At this time, the spacecraft will be about 6.9 million kilometers or 4.3 miles from the Sun's surface.  And whether its maximum speed will be 6 lakh 90 thousand kilometers per hour or 191 kilometers per second.  Which would be equal to about 0.064% of the speed of light.

According to NASA's plan, the high-tech Parker Solar Probe will conduct the space mission alone until 2025.  NASA wants to study the Sun more deeply by collecting new data on many other things, including the Sun and its magnetic field.  With which they are still working relentlessly NASA.
