The master plan aims to develop students' basic understanding and skills in AI, which will play an important role in China's future technological development. Through the AI education program, students will learn the basic principles of artificial intelligence and gain hands-on experience in the use and application of AI technology. This initiative will make China's education system more modern and technology-based and prepare students to meet future challenges.

The AI education program will encourage China's younger generation to be involved in technological innovation and development, which will make an important contribution to the country's overall development. After taking effect from the upcoming autumn semester, the plan requires schools to schedule general artificial intelligence courses for at least eight class hours per academic year, so as to integrate AI technology into the process of guiding, learning, educating, assessing and supporting research methods for students.

The new education plan of the Beijing Municipal Education Commission of China states that the (AI) courses for primary school students should emphasize experiential learning to introduce basic (AI) concepts and thinking. In addition, the plan also states that the country should emphasize the knowledge of AI for secondary school students. So that students can understand how AI can improve their studies and daily lives.

As part of this initiative, the Beijing Municipal Education Commission is planning to initially train 100 professional teachers and 1,000 regular teachers to provide AI education. These teachers will work to convey the basic and advanced concepts of AI to students in a simple and effective way. Through these trained teachers, a strong foundation will be built on the application and use of AI in China's primary and secondary education system.

Through the AI education program, students will be able to learn in depth about artificial intelligence technology, its uses and future prospects, and gain practical experience in its positive application. In addition, this initiative will make Chinese teachers proficient in modern technology, which will further improve the country's overall education system. And currently, this new plan is seen as a major step towards China's technological innovation, research and development.

In fact, in 2017, China created a grand plan to lead the world in artificial intelligence. In light of which, around 500 or more universities and colleges across the country started undergraduate programs in AI in 2018. Moreover, in recent years, the world's number one superpower has been facing an ongoing innovation and technology war with America. In addition, to compete with highly advanced AI language models like ChatGPT, China has created a new surprise by unveiling its own technology, an unimaginable Deepseek AI language model, to the world in 2025.
