The world's most expensive and high-tech fighter helmet!

Currently, the highest technology of modernization of defense technology is used in the helmet of the F-35 (Gen-3) stealth fighter made by Lockheed Martin Corporation of the United States.  The F-35 stealth fighter is designed and manufactured by Lockheed Martin Corporation, but the state-of-the-art helmet used by its pilots is jointly designed and manufactured by American company Elbit Systems and Rockwell Collings.

The cost per unit of the new generation Gen-3 Hi-Tech Helmet Mounted Display System (HMDS) used by the pilot is equal to 4 lakh dollars or about 4.5 crore rupees.  It is designed in such a way that the pilot can sit in the cockpit of the aircraft while flying in the sky and observe everything at a 360 degree angle and display all the necessary instructions on the display of the helmet.

Moreover, it has a high-tech head-up display, night vision capability sensor that facilitates effective combat missions during day and night and in any hostile 24 hours.  Moreover, the aircraft can be operated very easily and precisely through voice command and control.  This high-tech helmet uses real time access to flight data, targeting information, situational awareness through advanced display and sensor fusion technology.

Which has given the Helmet Mounted Display System (HMDS) helmet of the F-35 stealth fighter jet the title of the most expensive and high-tech helmet in the world.  And the biggest advantage of this high-tech helmet mounted display (HMD) fighter helmet is that the pilot of the aircraft can look in any direction and fire missiles or other weapons by locking the target in that direction without turning the aircraft.

A Helmet-Mounted Display (HMD) is actually a helmet system that presents all the important information related to the combat mission to the pilot's eyes and helps to make quick decisions or commands.  Pilots can conduct air missions very easily and quickly through voice commands.

This new generation helmet provides real time video/images to the pilot in any adverse conditions day or night and helps to identify the target accurately.  Moreover, due to its precise head-tracking capabilities and low-latency graphics processing, it provides the pilot with a virtual head-up display (HUD).  As a result, the F-35 Stealth Fighter Jet is a tactical high-tech fighter jet that is the first in 50 years to conduct fully air combat missions without a HUD.
