Nuclear Diamond Battery!

Researchers at the University of Bristol in the UK have created a sophisticated nuclear diamond battery. They claim that such these new nuclear batteries may be capable of supplying energy to devices for approximately 1,000 years without any recharging. However, this calculation of one thousand years is only an estimated prediction. The batteries are powered by beta-DKE (dust) from radioactive waste. This procedure creates diamonds using carbon-14 from radioactive methane produced as a by-product of graphite blocks in radiation furnaces.
