For the first time, China has sent a civilian woman into space!

On October 31, China successfully sent three astronauts to the Tiangong Space Station, built with its own technology. Among which Wang Haozhe has been sent to this mission for the first time as a civilian woman. It is believed to be the beginning of a new era through the active participation of women in China's space research and technological development. But even before that, two other respected Chinese women went to space.

For the first time, China has sent a civilian woman into space!

The new astronaut team arrived safely at the Tiangong Space Station after more than six hours of travel from Earth aboard the Shenzhou-19 spacecraft. Moreover, they were launched on the Shenzhou-19 spacecraft at 4:27 a.m. Beijing local time on Wednesday, October 30th. Wang Haoze, China's first civilian woman, will remain on the space station for the next six months.

While at the Tiangong Space Station, he will conduct space work and various scientific experiments with colleagues. He is a nuclear rocket scientist and astronaut by profession. He was born in 1990 and is currently serving as an Aerospace Flight Engineer in the Chinese People's Liberation Army Astronaut Corps.

China plans to build its own permanent base station on the moon by 2035 as part of its long-term plan for space exploration. To implement this, several tech giant companies of the country have already started working together with the National Space Research Organization of China. Meanwhile, the country has already spent about $8.5 billion to design and build the Tiangong Space Station, its own technology in space.

Currently, a total of 15 countries, including the United States, jointly control and operate the International Space Station However, China is the only red giant in the world that has its own space station. Its current weight is one lakh kg or 100 tons. The modernization and expansion of this space station is still ongoing.

China's proprietary technology space station is made up of three modules. Among them are Tianhe Core, Wentian and Mengtian Lab Module systems. Of these, the Tianhya core module was placed into low Earth orbit on April 29, 2021, and the Wenthiang module on July 24, 2022. Moreover, the space station has been fully operational since the launch of the last Mengthian Lab module on October 31, 2022.

However, the former Soviet Union's 'Salyut-1' space station/module, sent on April 19, 1971, has gone down in history as the first space station of the human race sent into space. It weighed about 18,425 kg and was placed at an altitude of 220 km above the Earth's surface. The experimental space module remained in space for 175 days until October 11, 1971.

In fact, in recent years, China has been investing nearly 100 billion dollars per year in new technology innovation, research and development, perhaps the largest investment in the world after the United States. Especially currently, China is trying its best to keep up with America in space technology development and research.
